Classed as one of the best hotels in Europe, it is made up of two buildings connected via the so-called La Rotonde, built in 1908. Between 2012 and 2014, the renowned interior designer Pierre-Yves Rochon oversaw the renovation of all the rooms. He chose many pastel colours and introduced mirror effects so as to bring the calming atmosphere of the lake right into the heart of the 5-star hotel.
The hotel boasts 168 rooms, 26 of which are junior suites and 8 are executive suites. All rooms have been recently renovated and equipped with the latest technologies.

In an imposing position at the east end of the Beau-Rivage Palace and with the possibility of private access to the hotel’s only roof terrace (22 m2), the Lavaux suite offers a unique panoramic view over the lake, the Alps and the majestic 4-hectare park.

The suite is decorated in a contemporary style with a light colour scheme. It comprises of a large living room and adjoining bedroom. This space can be extended by adding the 3 adjacent bedrooms and a kitchen at the end of the wing. One of the bedrooms has its own private sauna.

Anne-Sophie Pic -The restaurant
The Beau-Rivage Palace has placed Anne-Sophie Pic at the helm of the kitchens of its fine-dining restaurant.
While continuing to preside over her restaurant in Valence (France), the three star Michelin chef has entrusted the realisation of her creations to Kevin Gatin.
The restaurant has been awarded two stars in the Michelin guide and 18/20 in the Gault Millau.

Café Beau-Rivage is a veritable institution in Lausanne-Ouchy – for the past 25 years it has brought together holiday makers, business people in search of a little peace and quiet, regular guests and families. Cocktail-making classes
Cocktail classes are a great opportunity to learn from the Beau-Rivage Palace barmen. The course begins with an introduction to the rare spirits used at the BAR with a brief history of their origins. Next, a professional bartender provides practical training: each participant will compose and enjoy their own cocktail. A unique experience!

Le Montreux – Steam boat
Le Montreux is the oldest boat of the CGN fleet (Compagnie Générale de Navigation) – the largest European fleet of paddle steamers dating back to the Belle Époque.
From June to September, Le Montreux turns into a floating restaurant, where Beau-Rivage Palace chefs prepare delicious meals for evening gourmet cruises. Le Montreux departs from Lausanne-Ouchy pier, just a few minutes’ walk from Beau-Rivage Palace.
In the off season, Le Montreux is available for private receptions.

Located a 40-minute drive away from Geneva international airport and 2 hours away from Zurich airport, Beau-Rivage Palace is truly at the heart of Europe.
By train
The TGV from Paris to Lausanne takes just 3 hours and 40 minutes. The excellent Swiss rail network allows you to reach Lausanne from any city in the country. From Lausanne station, you can take the “M2” – Switzerland’s only underground railway. In just 10 minutes, you will reach its terminus: Ouchy. From there, you can take a short and pleasant walk along Lake Geneva, until you reach Beau-Rivage Palace. The “M2” runs every day and departs roughly every 10 minutes.
By car
