Customs officials at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York said a passenger arriving from Guyana had 70 songbirds in a duffel bag, officials said.
The live finches were found hidden inside hair rollers.
The travel website The Points Guy released a ranking of the 15 worst airports in the U.S.
To determine each airports’ ranking, data from the airports themselves were used, data from the Department of Transportation, and third parties. They were rated on factors such as accessibility, dinner and shopping options, and departing and arrival times.

Ten people were hospitalized Wednesday after an Emirates Airline plane from Dubai to New York City was carrying more than 500 passengers and landed at JFK Airport with about 100 passengers and crew members reported feeling ill, officials said.
Apparently rapper Vanilla Ice was among the passengers.
