One person has died as a consequence of a Legionnaires’ disease outbreak at the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel.
Nancy Nydam, director of communications at the Georgia Department of Public Health, confirmed the death to Fox News on Wednesday. The person’s name has not been released due to privacy laws.
11:07 AM PT — According to Atlanta PD, a call for service came in Friday for a dispute at the gate of an airport, which we’re told appears to be related to this incident Bam was involved in here. Luckily for him, no arrests were made — which jives with what you hear the video below. The officer says he was taking Bam to a hotel shuttle so he wouldn’t get in trouble. APD also clarified that the guy in the yellow vest is not a police officer, he appears to be an airport employee.
(CNN)Three guests who stayed at a prominent downtown Atlanta hotel have become sick with Legionnaires’ disease, prompting an investigation of the hotel on Monday, officials said.
“Based on epidemiological evidence we have an outbreak among people who stayed at the [Sheraton Atlanta] during the same time period,” said Nancy Nydam, director of communications at Georgia Department of Public Health, on Tuesday.

The central part of the procedings is the ‘Spectacular Fountain.’ It is a large dispenser that allows visitors to make 22 diffrent kinds of Coke products, most of which are dependent on regions. The visitors also get to see the coveted vault that contains the secret formula of making this beverage. The tour concludes with with a 10-minute film called ‘Every Day of Your Life’ that picturesquely describes the way Coke touches the lives of millions of people around the world everyday.
