Historically seeking

Udaipur is a treasure trove for history buffs. Head to Haldighati, a mountain pass located 40 kilometres from the city, which had witnessed the battle between MaharanaPratap and the Moghuls. The place, translated to ‘the yellow valley’, derives its name from the yellow soil of the place.

Next up is the famed Kumbhalgarh Fort, a World Heritage Site among the Hill Forts of Rajasthan. Located 65 kilometres from the city, the fort’s perimeter walls are rumoured to be ranked second after the Great Wall of China. During your stay, you can go sightseeing around the old city. Willcox’s, located in Aiken, South Carolina, US, was an internationally known inn during the Aiken Winter Colony heyday.^[2]^[3] Operated from 1898 to 1957 by members of the Willcox family, the still-magnificent building reflects the influence of both Second Empire and Colonial Revival styles of architecture. The plan of the building is irregular in shape, consisting of a central block with asymmetrical wings. Of Aiken’s once famous resort hostelries, only Willcox’s is still standing. Pool Info:
The Gasparilla Inn & Club features a large heated pool at our Beach Club, which sits directly on the Gulf of Mexico. Our Beach Pavilion and Tiki Bar serve lunch with drink service through the afternoon. Our Full-Service Spa also features a lap pool for our adult guests to enjoy. Both outdoor pools are open from 8:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m. daily.
